Interesting or fun facts

I live on a little rock in the Irish Sea
I once (accidentally) flooded my university halls, so we all had to evacuate and sleep in the sports hall…
I technically still have a golf handicap of 8
I was two months premature
I have a golden retriever who reverses out of rooms
My mum was a GB international marathon runner and once won the Great North Run

I run because…

I love how simple and pure the sport is. Running is a sport which requires a lot of dedication and sacrifice, and I like to push myself to the best of my ability. I like the idea that whatever you put in to running, whether it is time or effort, you will most likely get the results if you do everything right. There is no better feeling than having all the hard work pay off, but then again you have to work even harder when it does!
