The Beast from the East and Storm Emma done its best to wipe out the UK’s parkruns this weekend but there a few brave survivors that still went ahead. Here are the top times on Saturday (March 3).

Alix Ramsier ran the quickest time this week among the men. The South London Harrier completed the Riddlesdown parkrun course in a fast 15:20 and is now just four parkruns away from the 100 club.

Liverpool Harrier Rachael Burns tops the women’s list this week after running a parkrun best 17:50 in Widnes. The V35 runner was taking part in her fifth parkrun and last month ran 9:39 at the Armagh 3k.

Hove Promenade on England’s South Coast escaped the worst of the weather and saw the second fastest male and females times this week.

First to cross the line in his 95th parkrun was Thomas Niner in a new best 15:34. Outside of parkrun, the Brighton & Hove City middle-distance runner has spent most of his time indoors competing over 800m and 1500m.

Even closer to the parkrun 100 club is Emily Proto, the fastest woman in Hove Promenade. She ran 18:16 on her 98th parkrun and last month the longer distance runner finished second at the Worthing Half Marathon and third at the Brighton Half Marathon.
