Joshua Grace takes the men’s honours as Tiffany Penfold tops the women’s list. Here are the fastest parkrun times in the UK on Saturday (September 15).

Joshua Grace ran a sub 15 minute time of 14:52 at the Bushy parkrun to record the fastest time in the UK this week.

The Aldershot athlete, who boasts a road 5k personal best of 14:16, was taking part in his fifth Saturday morning 5k and walked away with a new parkrun best.

Bushy parkrun secured a men’s one-two thanks to Alan Stewart’s nippy 15:20 run. It was a 5k PB for the Chiltern Harriers runner who was taking part in his 82nd parkrun.

Tiffany Penfold was the fastest woman this week after running 17:41 at the Workington event. The young Copeland AC athlete was running in her 58th parkrun and this year has recorded PBs on the track over 800m, 1500m and 3000m.

Top 10 regular Jo Williams was once again at the forefront of fast parkrun performances and took the women’s number two spot. The Lothian RC athlete posted a quick 17:48 at the Livingston parkrun.

There were two unknown men who missed out on top three places, a 15:05 run at the Waterworks parkrun in Belfast and a 15:13 performance at the Exeter Riverside event.

Elsewhere, Newcastle (Staffs) AC’s Lucy Matthews, with the assistance of her canine friend, posted a 16:36 performance at Kingsbury Water event.

Bushy parkrun was the most represented event among the top 10 with a fantastic three runners in the men’s top four.
