Martin Cox takes the men’s honours as Annette Kealy tops the women’s list. Here are the fastest Irish parkrun times on Saturday (November 24).

Martin Cox ran 16:10 at the Omagh parkrun to record the fastest men’s time across the island of Ireland this weekend.

The Carmen Runners athlete, who has a 5k road personal best of 15:13 from 2015, was taking part in his 27th Saturday morning event.

Top 10 regular Annette Kealy was once again the quickest of the women at parkrun. The Raheny Shamrock athlete and Irish Masters international ran 18:28 on her 73rd visit to the Malahide parkrun.

Last month, Kealy was the F50 winner at the Autumn Open International Cross Country in Abbottstown.

Jonny Steede ran 16:23 at the Antrim event to take the men’s number two spot. It was a first visit to parkrun for the Glens Runners athlete.

Ailbhe McDaid took the women’s number two spot after a 19:17 run at the Limerick parkrun. McDaid was running in her 41st Saturday morning event.

There was one unknown runner who missed out on the men’s top spot after a 16:19 run – without his barcode – at the St Anne’s parkrun in Dublin.

That didn’t stop the St Anne’s parkrun from being the most represented event, with four runners – with barcodes – among the top 10.
