Chris Olley ran the third fastest parkrun time this year to claim the men’s top spot, while Amy Clements is the quickest woman at parkrun. Here are the fastest times on Saturday (June 16).

Chris Olley ran a sizzling quick 14:17 at the Pegwell Bay event to record the fastest time across the UK this week. The Tonbridge athlete time is the third fastest parkrun time this year and follows up on a 3:48.48 run over 1500m at the BMC Gold Standard Races in Watford midweek.

Paul Martelletti ran 15:11 in Beckton to take the men’s number two spot. It was parkrun number 102 for the Victoria Park & Tower Hamlets athlete. Martelletti, who clocked 2:24:40 at the Rotterdam Marathon in April, has a parkrun best of 14:47 from 2014.

Amy Clements ran a nippy 17:03 at the Dulwich parkrun to clinch the women’s top spot on Saturday. The Kent AC athlete’s last outing was at the English Road Relays in April where she ran the eighth fastest long leg.

Pippa Woolven, who competed in the steeplechase at 2014 Commonwealth Games, ran the women’s second fastest time with a 17:22 run at the Black Park event in Slough. It was Wycombe Phoenix Harriers athlete’s 13th time at parkrun.

Northern Irish runner Ben Branagh ran the men’s third fastest time at parkrun with a 15:17 clocking at the Waterworks event in Belfast. The St Malachy’s athlete has been regularly among the Irish top 10 this year and won the Ballynahinch Lions 10k in recent months.

Familiar names among the top 10 this week also included Scott Overall, Jo Williams and Rebecca Robinson, while Wimbledon Common was the most represented parkrun with three runners.
